Nationally Syndicated Radio Host Plays Horse Show Announcer 

 

Central Point, OR – Talk Radio Network’s Rusty Humphries, host of the nationally syndicated The Rusty Humphries Show, is currently on location in Canada filming the 3rd remake of the classic film “Flicka”. Rusty Humphries is playing an announcer at a critical horse show. The Rusty Humphries Show is now airing on over 200 affiliates nationwide, ranking as the 8th largest syndicated talk show in the U.S. with over 2.75 million estimated weekly listeners, according to Talkers Magazine. 

 

Rusty Humphries says, “I am very excited to be shooting Flicka 3 on location in Canada this week with Director Michael Damian the star of „The Young and The Restless‟, and Songwriter of the hit song „Rock On‟.” Humphries continues by saying, “The shoot went great and Michael Damian could not be nicer. He's a really good director too.”

“Flicka 3” also features movie star Clint Black who is not only an actor but is also an American Country Music Singer/Songwriter and his wife Lisa Hartman Black. Clint Black starred in the 1994 film Maverick and in the 2003 film Anger Management. Black was featured in the staring role in the 1998 film Still Holding On: The Legend of Cadillac Jack and has also appeared in several television shows, including Wings and The Larry Sanders Show and had a major role in another television movie, Going Home. 

 

Rusty is not afraid to say what he thinks or how he feels. At an early age, he lost his father in the Vietnam War and has been a passionate supporter of law enforcement and military issues. Humphries broadcasts over the last 25 years have taken him to Iraq, Kuwait, England, Cuba, Mexico, Italy, Israel (including Gaza and The West Bank). Rusty is an expert on military issues and has featured many of America's soldiers and distinguished officials live from Iraq and Afghanistan. He served as a military observer at the U.S. Naval Station Guantanomo Bay Detention Center and has contacts directly to the Pentagon and Centcom.
