Watch Mancow On Fox’s Chicago Code, Cast in Scene Opposite Actress Jennifer Beals
Chicago, IL – Talk Radio Network-FM and Dial-Global’s Erich “Mancow” Muller was cast as himself, an on-air radio guy, on Fox’s latest TV police drama, The Chicago Code airing Mondays on FOX at 9 p.m. (8 CST). Mancow biggest scene appears in the 9th episode named the “St. Valentine’s Day Massacre” featuring his scene – opposite actress Jennifer Beals, who plays Teresa, Chicago’s first female superintendent. The episode featured Teresa, as she comes under fire from Mancow’s radio listeners because the Windy City’s crime rate is increasing. The Mancow Experience in real life is nationally syndicated by Talk Radio Network-FM and Dial Global, and is ranked as the 9th largest nationally syndicated show reaching over 2.25 million listeners weekly, according to Talker Magazine.
The scene from Chicago Code with Mancow, features Teresa, live on-air with Mancow, on The Mancow Radio Experience, as he fields calls from listeners attacking her position. Teresa attempts to respond to the accusations made when the caller talks over her thereby using up all the available time needed to respond to the caller, before Mancow is forced to take a commercial break. Mancow is no stranger to being in the spotlight – both on-air with the nationally syndicated radio show The Mancow Experience and on camera with several recent acting roles featured on TV. The Chicago Code follows the Windy City's most powerful and respected cops as they navigate the city's underbelly to fight crime and expose corruption within Chicago's notorious political machine. “These cops stop at nothing to navigate the Windy City's underbelly to fight crime and bring down Alderman Gibbons' empire of corruption,” says the show’s producers.
Jennifer Beals, was recently on the real live The Mancow Experience radio show, sharing her insights into the new TV series, The Chicago Code. While on-air she praised Mancow’s acting abilities and performance on the program by saying, “I thought you were fantastic - I was in ah.” Making reference to their big scene together, Beals continued by saying, “The charisma was just astounding.” Beals continued the compliments saying, “I think it worked out well. You did a great job.”
Mancow holds Beals acting abilities and experience in high regard; recently admitting that one of his teenage fantasies has now come true, by saying, “My first adult male feelings happened while watching Jennifer Beals in ‘Flash dance’, so acting…acting onscreen with her was my teenage fantasy, delivered as if by time machine.” Continuing on about Beals, Mancow says, “Oh, and everyone's asking the same question. And the answer is: She looks AMAZING.”
Mancow also contributes regular commentaries to "Chicago Tonight" and has made frequent TV appearances on “Fox and Friends” and “Show Biz Tonight” (on HLN). He was also a guest on NBC’s “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” and has appeared on a variety of other television programs including: “Politically Incorrect,” “Jerry Springer,” “David Letterman,” “Hard Copy” and others.
