Jerry Doyle For President?
Author Speculates on Possible Third Party Candidates
Las Vegas, NV – Talk Radio Network Enterprises’ nationally syndicated radio host, Jerry Doyle was included in a recent list of possible third party candidates which could draw 5-15% of the popular vote. The list was featured in The New American’s on-line magazine article, “Ron Paul’s Real Electability: Stopping The Third Party Threat” written by Thomas Eddlem. Eddlem article states, “Plenty of third party candidate possibilities dot the political horizon, each of whom could draw 5-15% percent of the popular vote (or more) and a significant percentage of conservative and independent voters.”
Jerry Doyle was not the only “third party threat” Eddlem included in his list of people who could potentially run as third party candidates if Ron Paul does not win the Republican nomination in the 2012 Presidential Elections. Also on the list included: CNBC’s Reporter Rick Santelli, Fox’s Judge Andrew Napolitano, Steve Forbes (who's already run for President as a Republican), America On-Line Founder Steve Case, and EuroPacific Capital CEO Peter Schiff, among many others.
The Jerry Doyle Show continues to reign as the fastest growing radio show in TRN Enterprises’ history, airing on almost 200 affiliates nationwide, 31 of which are in the top 50 metro markets, and ranking as the 6th largest syndicated show in the nation, with over 3.75 million estimated weekly listeners, according to Talkers Magazine.
The article featured in The New American points to the fact that many are starting to ride the wave of popular sentiment that the current system is not working for the average American and includes what Eddlem refers to as “5 electoral facts” to support his position that Ron Paul should be the GOP Candidate in 2012.
Eddlem writes, “While the vast majority of these possible candidates have no interest in running for President, all it would take to prevent any GOP candidate from winning a majority in the final election is for one to run. There's no shortage of high profile possible third party candidates who could draw Republican votes from an establishment nominee who has a history of defending crony capitalism. But a Ron Paul candidacy would defeat any center-right or populist third party candidacy by co-opting the anti-crony capitalist vote.
