During a national radio interview on The Jerry Doyle Show, House Republican Leader John Boehner (R-OH) described the “Slaughter Solution” scheme Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) intends to use to force the Senate-passed health care brought through Congress without voting on it as a “fingernail … in the eye of the American people.” 

 “THE AMERICAN PEOPLE KNOW ENOUGH ABOUT THIS BILL TO HAVE DECIDED WE DON’T WANT ANY PART OF THIS, They think they have a messaging problem. The fact is the American people know enough about this bill to have decided we don’t want any part of this. But they are going to try and continue to shove this thing down the throats of the American people. We need the American people to get on the phone, get on the email, and to lean on these members and make their voices known. Because if the American people stay engaged in this, they will not be able to pass it,” Boehner said.
