Congresswoman Marsha Blackburn Calls For an Investigation and Resignation of U.S. Ambassador Susan Rice for 'Covering Up' Attack on U.S. Embassy in Libya
Republican U.S. Congresswoman Marsha Blackburn from the 7th district of Tennessee is calling for the resignation of U.S. Ambassador Susan Rice for covering up the facts that the attack on the U.S. embassy in Libya was a terrorist attack. Blackburn asserts that Rice and President Obama covered up the terrorist attack by instead characterizing it as a response to the anti-Islam film “Innocence of Muslims.”
Blackburn serves on the House Energy and Commerce Committee where she is vice-chair of the Subcommittee on Commerce, Manufacturing, and Trade (CMT). As CMT vice-chair, she also sits on the Subcommittee on Oversight.
